We are excited to have recently launched our new curriculum, “Tech Advantage,” for treatment centers across the country.

We developed this course because we want to improve every clients treatment experience to ensure they fully complete their treatment and experience the best outcomes possible.

Having appropriately trained support staff can greatly improve a persons treatment experience and makes staff more effective in their roles. It also allows them to gain essential skills through professional development that will further their careers in the behavioral health field.

Until now, there has not been an effective training for addiction support staff or Tech’s. Appropriately trained support staff have the ability to improve a clients treatment experience and outcomes in many ways. This course helps develop the skills needed to support clients and empower them to complete their treatment. These new skills ensure the clients/patients will have the best and most effective treatment experience possible and will greatly improve their success in recovery.

Existing Behavioral Health Technician courses miss the mark when it comes to the necessary skills needed for those working in addiction treatment centers. Unfortunately, staff historically have nothing more than an onboarding and orientation to a facility to prepare them for their roles. Tech’s often spend more time with clients than clinical staff or case managers do, training and professional development is vital.
